After a decade behind-the-scenes in Los Angeles, co-writing and collaborating with the likes of Jim James, Peter Yarrow and Moby (in addition to lending her vocal talents to various industry projects, including the theme song to the CW’s Life Sentence), JAMIE DRAKEhas all the while been carefully honing her craft and preparing to take center stage.
What has culminated is EVERYTHING’S FINE: a breathtaking embrace of heartbreak and hope, wrapped in lush orchestrations reminiscent of Jon Brion and Van Dyke Parks and delivered with rich vocals, derivative of her varied musical influences ranging from Harry Nillson to Sufjan Stevens; from Cat Power to Joni Mitchell.
