Words & Music was founded in March of 2002 as a collection agency for unpaid Karaoke royalties. After licensing and recovering tens of thousands of dollars for music publishers and songwriters, Words & Music found there was this same need to regulate and police the use of copyrights in other areas of music licensing.

The copyright is a unique intellectual property and must be managed as such.
